I was told it would take about 15 days and that turned into more like 6-7 weeks. The appraiser took a week to get here, then spent 5 minutes looking at my house. He rescheduled the first appointment. Then, it took another week for him to turn it in and even had to go back and fix it. I think my appraisal was low, but it was still accepted. I feel Amerisave could have gone up to 80% of value to make up for these issues but they didn't. I know that is possible to do if Amerisave chose to. While I'm grateful for the help this gives me, it did not get me all the way to where I needed. Also, I had to keep sending documents and told it was the last thing needed, then I had to send another, then another. Seemed someone, somewhere in the process didn't quite know what they were doing, not sure. Overall, I think the process could be smoother and not getting the entire amount I needed was disappointing, however, I have no issues with my interactions with Randall.
